BOTHERING AGENTS ON a HOLIDAY-- FOLLOW-UP!

I wrote a short and simple blog over the Holiday about an actual question that came up-- whether to bother Agents over a Holiday weekend.  It must have hit home, because it was featured and I received 86 comments so far! 

To follow-up,  I did make the call.  It went to VM, but then the Agent texted me back within the hour.  I was able to show my clients a fair number of properties-- and they were very grateful.... they live in another state and came out to visit family for Thanksgiving.  We actually revisited a few of the homes again today-- and we may be making an offer this week. 

I am thankful for all the great comments I received-- the overall consensus was to make the call to the Agent-- let them choose whether to call you back or not.  And do the best job you can for your client-- Holiday or not!

Can you set the table for Thanksgiving?

 

 

 

I love Thanksgiving because it is all about family, friends, and really good food. I love TURKEY-- and gravy and stuffing and mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes and anything with pumpkin in it! I plan on doing a number of blogs to help us get up to speed for this great holiday! I have been listening to agents talk about their Thanksgiving plans for a few days.  Some are staying local as they have deals almost ready to close and getting away is not an option.  One is flying to Illinois for 4 days and one is going to Arizona.  As for me i am fortunate that my parents are coming into La Quinta to spend the holiday with me.  So I was just thinking about how far are people willing to travel for Turkey?  What are your plans?  How far are you going and what special tradition do you keep?
