Thanks ActiveRain, for 365 Things to do in Your Town!

I followed the advice of fellow ActiveRainers and started a Facebook page 365 Things to do in the Palm Springs, CA Area!  I have found a new way to connect to businesses, restaurants, hotels, local attractions, golf courses, event coordinators and all kinds of local people.... along with fans of our area, and people who just wish they could visit!

In just 3 months my Facebook page has climbed to over 220 fans--WOW!

I have been posting favorite places and events, and then send a message to the business or event and let them know that they have been featured.  The response has been enthusiastic!  And my personal page has grown also as a result!

Have You Set Up Your Facebook Account YET?

I know most of you are already signed up and hooked up to the Facebook phenomenom-- and you may or may not be using in your business. Some Agents prospect on Facebook, others reconnect with classmates and old friends, others post listings and hopefully attract clients. I have been building my Facebook Friend list and try to post information about my community, current events, tips on the latest holiday, and even some RE stuff. I have reconnected with many lost friends, family, classmates and old mini-tour pals. It seems to me that by expanding my sphere, I can build my business!
